Maintenance Requests
For all maintenance and repairs requests please enter a work order request through the Student Portal . For detailed instructions on how to complete the work order request please see the "How to Guide" .
Use this above link to request work orders online. In order for our Maintenance staff to complete your request in a timely manner, please fill out all areas giving as much information as possible. If we enter your room while you are not at home, we will leave you a notice indicating that we attended and fixed your problem. If we need to purchase parts, which will delay your repair, we will indicate that as well.
Garbage Facilities
University Hall, there are garbage rooms in the E1, E2, E3 and C3 stairwells. New garbage bags are available from your RA if you live in U-Hall.
Piikani House and Kainai House. Garbage dumpsters are located on the first floor of each Apartment Building
Residence Village, Tsuut'ina House & Siksika House: Bins are located across the parking lot of each building or at the end of the parking pads. Please use these dumpsters regularly and ensure that all garbage bags are tied and make it into the garbage container.
Please do your part and help keep these rooms and areas clean.
Recycling
Housing Services and the ORS will phase in a recycling program pertinent to each facility based on available space. A Housing Services staff member will remove the items that are deposited in the central collection areas. Any bottle/can deposits will be cashed in and all monies will be deposited into a Resident Student Bank account to be used toward a Resident Student common interest.
University Hall, recycle paper bins and bottle/can containers will be set up in each of the common rooms.
Aperture Park Apartments will house small individual paper recycling bins in each of the suites with a larger bin housed in the elevator lobby on each floor. A pop/can recycling container will also be housed in the elevator lobby on each floor of each apartment.
Residence Village will have individual paper recycling containers in each townhouse with the larger containers available in the lobby of Paterson Centre.
Siksika & Tsuut'ina House will have bottle/can and paper recycling containers in each of their building laundry areas.
