Irrigation Pond

An irrigation pond is located in front of the family townhome units. On one side, it has been fenced in, but it is open on the other side. In the winter, this pond is not safe to walk on or to skate on. The thickness of the ice is not monitored and the Lethbridge winters are usually very mild. Please make sure your children know that this is not a safe area in which to play or swim.  A shale path that is perfect for walking or biking surrounds the pond. There are benches to sit on, to enjoy the wildlife and beauty of the area. (We hear that some big fish are caught at this pond!)   So, let us use the area for what it is meant for and keep the children safe.
