Wednesday, December 13, 2006
One week before …Please ensure you change your “MA address” (mailing address) on “The Bridge” before you leave. *** Your Security Deposit will be refunded to this address. ***
International students …You must provide Housing Services with the following information in order for Financial Services to wire your Security Deposit directly to your bank account.
Name & Address of Bank; Bank #, Transit # (if possible); Account #; Name & Address of Account Holder; Either an ABA# or a Swift Code #
If you do not provide this information to Housing Services, your Security Deposit will remain in your student account.

Roommates leaving at different times …
Your contract states that everyone in the unit will be charged for cleaning and damage if any is found in a common area, so each student must clean the unit upon their departure, as all areas are subject to inspection.

in your room / suite / apartment, there will be a minimum one hour cleaning charge (@ $25.00/hr) and an additional administration charge.
As you leave …
Remember to close your window, turn off your lights and lock your door.
Return your keys in the envelope provided to either Housing or in the return mail slot of your building before noon on December 20th. You are responsible for returning your own keys – NOT your R.A. or the room inspector. Ensure that your name, room number and date of move out is written on the key envelope.
If keys are returned late …
You will be charged a daily rate until your keys are returned to Housing.
Lost keys will be charged as follows: Mail key $30.00 each / Room & Suite Key $75.00 each. This amount will be deducted from your security deposit.
If you are changing rooms …
If you are changing rooms for the Spring Semester, your present room must be vacated before you leave for Christmas. If your new room is not available by the time you leave for Christmas, please contact our office and arrange to move your belongings into storage.
As we do not know the exact date of when your new room will become available, it would be very beneficial for you to pack up your belongings and do as much cleaning as possible. You will be asked to move out of your current room within 24 hours of notification. Room changes will occur as rooms become vacant.
Mail Services …
Housing Services is unable to redirect student mail, but you may rent a mailbox from Housing Services for $5.00/mth and provide several large (self-addressed) envelopes + postage and they will forward your mail to you.
Last day of contract… December 20, 2006 @ 12:00 noon
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
