Some of the highlights:

  • An important tip to know for the future is that food should be either eaten or stored in the refrigerator within two hours of its preparation.
  • Taste-testing anything that looks or smells ‘strange’ is not recommended
  • The safe storage limit for foods such as hamburgers and chicken nuggets is one to two days
