Disturbing Occurances - Your Security

Tuesday, March 07, 2006

It has come to our attention that there have been strangers wandering the halls in the apartments and letting themselves into open apartments not knowing that someone is home. When they are seen they make up an excuse as to why they are in the apartment and leave. This has happened more than once lately, so it's very important that you take proper precautions to keep you, your possessions and the rest of residents safe.

It's obviously very important not to buzz in or allow someone to follow you into the building that you do not know.  It's also highly recommended that locking suite doors and bedroom doors become a habit even if you are in the suite. Can you imagine having something like your computer stolen? or coming out of the bedroom or shower to find a stranger in your apartment? Creepy right? Take all the precautions that you can; better to be safe than sorry.
