Breast Cancer Awareness Night a Huge Success

Lethbridge, AB-The evening of February 13,2010 was truly memorable for the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns basketball teams. Not only did both the women’s and men’s basketball teams emerge victorious over their archrival University of Calgary Dinos, ensuring both teams a playoff spot in the process, but the Horns raised $3,559.82 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. This year’s total greatly surpasses the total of $500 raised during last year’s event.

Lethbridge, AB – Despite having their playoff aspirations unceremoniously ended by an out of town score last night, the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns put forth a valiant effort but came up short, dropping a 3-2 overtime decision to the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. The Horns came into Saturday’s contest with the looking to play spoiler. With Manitoba defeating Regina last night, the Horns were eliminated from postseason contention and now the Bisons and could catch the Huskies for the right to host the opening round of the play
