Application Requirements
High school applicants applying to the Addictions Counselling program must hold a 65% high school average to be considered. Transfer applicants with eight or more transferrable courses must have an admission grade point average of 2.00 on a 4.00 point scale.
All applicants must satisfy the following requirement of these Alberta high school courses, or equivalents:
• English Language Arts 30-1
• Biology 30 or Chemistry 30
• Two 30-level 'academic' courses
• A fifth course at the 30-level
Students must also provide an Admission Statement.
Post-Diploma B.H.Sc. Addictions Counselling

Application Requirements
Those applying to the Post-Diploma B.H.Sc. program must have a Drug and Alcohol Counsellor diploma from Fleming College, the Child and Youth Care diploma from Lethbridge College, or another approved addictions diploma from a different institution. Applicants must also have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, or equivalent. Those with extensive practical experience in the field and a GPA of less than 3.00 will be given individual consideration for admission.
(Those submitting an application to the Post-Diploma B.H.Sc. are not required to submit an Admission Statement.)
