1 There are two rounds of admission for Fall (September 1) entry to the M.A. or M.Sc. and Ph.D programs; the first intake deadline is February 1, and the second intake deadline is May 1. Applicants who choose an Addictions Counselling, Health Sciences, or Nursing major in the M.Sc. program are accepted for admission to the Fall semester only and must apply by February 1.
2 International students are encouraged to apply by February 1 to allow sufficient time for the processing of student visa/study permit.
3 Space permitting; enrolment is limited and early application is encouraged.
Note: The application deadline for Master of Education and Master of Counselling programs has been extended to December 1, 2013 for Summer 2014 start.
The application fee for initial admission to a Master's or Ph.D. program is $100.
Subsequent applications for readmission to a level of studies are assessed an application fee of $25.

All transcripts of studies completed at universities, colleges or other post-secondary institutions must be sent directly from the issuing institution to the University of Lethbridge. It is not necessary to submit transcripts of studies completed at the University of Lethbridge.
Other documents - Applications to some programs must be supported by such documents as standardized tests, letters of reference, etc. To be considered official, these documents must be forwarded directly from the issuing agency or individual to the University.
General - Photocopies will only be accepted if notarized and accompanied by original documents. FAX transcripts will only be accepted as interim documents, pending receipt of final, official documents.
An applicant who is currently completing studies at a post-secondary institution other than the University of Lethbridge is encouraged to submit an interim transcript, in addition to arranging for a final transcript of these studies. Interim transcripts allow an applicant to be considered for an early offer of admission.
When admission is offered by the University prior to completion of studies elsewhere, receipt of final satisfactory transcripts shall be a condition of admission.
Final, official, satisfactory transcripts of all post-secondary work are required of all individuals offered admission to the University. Failure to meet this requirement by the appropriate deadline may lead to cancellation of registration.
