Overview

The Silverhill Institute of Environmental Research & Conservation grants are available for graduate students to provide assistance in carrying out applied research projects. The intent is to provide funding for applied research projects with a Canadian or North American focus being carried out at the Masters level.

Value: $2,500

Eligibility: Masters, Canadian/PR/international

Internal Deadline: Feb. 26

Masters Thesis/Research project must:  

• Have an applied environmental or conservation focus
• Contribute in a direct way to society and/or provides specific community benefit
• Have a Canadian or North American focus.

The amount of the major grant is $2,500 and smaller awards of $500 are also available.
