• The Alberta Scholarship Programs, a unit of Alberta Advanced Education and Technology, makes these awards possible
• Awards are intended to showcase the high quality of research being done by full-time Alberta graduate students
  • At any point in your second year of a full-time research-based master's program
  • At any point in your third or fourth year of study In a full-time researcg-based Ph.D. program

• Deadlines:
  • October 15th for Jan-Apr travel
  • February 15 for May-August travel
  • June 15 for September-December travel

Value of the Award

• 33 graduate awards valued at $1,500 each

Criteria

• Be a presenter at a nationally and internationally recognized academic conference
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Resident of Alberta; defined as a person residing in Alberta for 12 consecutive months
• Applicants must apply for funding and receive notification of their award prior to attending the conference and prior to submitting conference expenses; Submissions should be forwarded to the School of Graduate Studies.
