Renewal Process:
For Doctoral Awards, you must submit an Annual Progress Report in order for you next year of funding to be put into place. This report should be submitted to the Graduate Award Advisor prior to the anniversary of your scholarship to ensure there is no disruption to your payments.
New Applications
Internal Deadline: October 7, 2012 at 23:59 (MST)

- Offered to the top-ranked applicants at each level (master's and doctoral) and the next tier of meritorious applicants will be offered NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships
- Providing financial support to high-calibre scholars who are engaged in master's or doctoral programs in the natural sciences and engineering
Applying

- Apply through the U of L if
- If you are a full or part-time students of the University of Lethbridge, at the time of application
- If you have received a degree from the University of Lethbridge less than 12 months prior to December 31
- All others apply directly through NSERC

- Candidates may only submit one application per academic year to NSERC or CIHR or SSHRC.
Organizing Your Application
- Students are strongly encouraged to have their applications read and critiqued by faculty members and other students
- Students should request that official transcripts of their entire academic record (including transfer credit grades) be sent to the Awards Officer
- Official transcripts will be required for all institutions as transfer credits will not show grade received
