Graduate Fellowships

A Fall Graduate Fellowship is awarded to each M.Sc. (Management) candidate registered in the Orientation and Integrative Management Studies Modules. The Fellowship is distributed to eligible candidates in equal monthly payments from September through December.  The Fellowship awards are $3,200.00 (Cdn) for students with Canadian citizenship and $6,400.00 (Cdn) for International students. 

A Spring Graduate Fellowship is awarded to each M.Sc. (Management) candidate who is good academic standing at the end of the Integrative Management Studies Module and who is registered in the Major Studies Module.  The Fellowship is distributed to eligible candidates in equal monthly payments from January through April.  The Fellowship awards are $3,200.00 (Cdn) for students with Canadian citizenship and $6,400.00 (Cdn) for International students.   

Summer Graduate Fellowship of $3,200.00 ($6,400.00 for International students) is awarded to each M.Sc. (Management) candidate who is in good academic standing at the end of the Major Studies Module and who is registered in the Master’s Thesis Module.  The Fellowship is distributed to eligible candidates in equal monthly payments from May through August. 

Thesis Fund

A Thesis Fund is available to each M.Sc. (Management) candidate to offset expenses related to completion of the Master’s Thesis.  This fund is available to each student through reimbursement to the Faculty of Management to a maximum of $750.00. 

Travel Funding

The University of Lethbridge Graduate Student Association also offers a Graduate Students Association Travel Award. The Award provides $500 towards registration, travel and accommodation expenses for graduate students who are presenting their research at an internationally recognized conference. Scholarships

Derrick and Lytta Pereira Prize:  This scholarship valued at $1000 is awarded once per academic year pending availability of funds.  All applicants offered admission and who accept their offer into the M.Sc. (Management) Program are considered for this award. 

Master of Science (Management) Bursary – Peter and Helen Kelley: This bursary, valued at $500, is awarded once per academic year. Eligible students must be enrolled in the M.Sc.(Mgt) Program (entering or continuing). Those who demonstrate financial need will be considered for this award. Application to Scholarships and Student Finance is required.

Queen Elizabeth Graduate Scholarship (Province of Alberta  Scholarship Programs):  This scholarship is valued at $10,800.00, and is divided and awarded to Canadian citizens or permanent residents entering the M.Sc. (Management) Program.  Eligible students must have superior academic achievement and must be in good standing with Alberta Students Finance.  Eligible students are automatically considered. 

Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Canada Graduate Scholarships Master’s Program: If you are a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, have completed or are about to complete a bachelor's degree, or are already pursuing a master's degree in the humanities or social sciences, you may be eligible to apply for a $17, 500.00 master's scholarship! The Alberta Scholarship Program recently announced a $10,000 award available to students pursuing studies in human rights, cultural diversity or multiculturalism. Employment

Students enrolled in the M.Sc.
