F. W. Hess & Family Award

Dr. Hess served on teh U of L Senate from 1985 to 1991 and received an honorary degree from the U of L in 2004.  She encourages an understandign and respect of our water resources and teh environment.

This award is available to Canadian citizens or permanent resident of Canada who is enrolled in any Masters or Ph.D. program.  The course of study being pursued must relate to the Environment and can include topics of study or research in the Humanities, Fine Arts, Sciences and Social Sciences.

Value: $2,400, tenable upon confirmation of enrolment at the U of L in the semester immediately following the granting of the award.

The PDF Hess and Family Award Application is to be submitted to the SGS Award Advisor.

Deadline: no later than 4 PM on April 1 (or next business day if date falls on a weekend).
