Supporting Documentation for Your Graduate Studies Application

Applicants must upload and submit the following supporting documents with their application for admission:

  • Unofficial transcripts for each post-secondary institution attended, even if you have previously applied for admission to the University of Lethbridge

  • Letter of Intent

  • Curriculum Vitae

All applicants, regardless of their citizenship status or country of origin, must fulfil the English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirement. Proof of English proficiency must be provided on official transcripts (confirming study in a recognized country) or a valid standardized test score report before the application deadline. Applicants who do not meet the ELP requirement may also apply for Conditional English Proficiency admission by indicating in their letter of intent that they are seeking this option. Conditional English Proficiency admission provides applicants with the opportunity to begin their studies in the University of Lethbridge’s English for Academic Purposes program and then proceed directly into the graduate degree program. Full details on Conditional English Proficiency admission are available in the Graduate Studies Calendar.

Some programs may require additional documentation in addition to what is listed in this section (e.g., Fieldwork Experience form, portfolio, audition/interview, Nursing Registration, GMAT/GRE). See your program’s application procedure for details.

Official documents, including all transcripts and test scores, must be received by the Registrar’s Office prior to course registration. To be considered official, documents must be received by the University of Lethbridge directly from the issuing institution. Applicants are encouraged to arrange for the submission of official documents at the time of application. Official documents should be mailed to:
