Volunteers Needed for Sci-Fusion Lethbridge Regional Science Fair

SCI-FUSION is a combination of two events, the Lethbridge Regional Science Fair and the Lethbridge Science Olympics. SCI-FUSION is open to students in grades 4 - 12 from southwest Alberta schools. The top three projects from the regional fair (Grades 7 - 12) are invited to compete at CANADA-WIDE SCIENCE FAIR 2017 in Regina, Saskatchewan in May 2017.

Volunteers are needed for the dates listed below. Th anticipated time commitment is just a few short hours per day in order to assist in the success of the event.

WHEN: Friday March 31 (4 pm check-in) and Saturday April 1 (9 am - 6 pm), 2017

WHERE: University of Lethbridge 1st Choice Savings Centre, Upper Track

  • Friday, March 31, 4-6pm (Science Fair): Duties may include greeting and helping students and parents get signed in, getting students to their stations and helping them get set up, etc.
  • Saturday, April 1, 11:30am-3:30pm (Science Olympics): Dutie may include distributing competition materials, helping the organizing committee keep things running smoothly, etc.
