Travel recommendations and assistance for those travelling to, from or via the United States

Thursday, February 9, 2017

As a result of unfolding events in the United States, members of the University community considering travel to, from or via the U.S. should anticipate increased travel delays due to demonstrations and security checks at U.S. airports. These delays are a result of the signing of an executive order, and subsequent legal challenges, regarding new immigration procedures for entry to the U.S.

The University has recently partnered with International SOS, a leading medical and security assistance company to provide assistance and advice for travel outside of Canada. Students, faculty and staff are advised to register for email alerts and review travel security updates through the International SOS membership portal.
