Mashal Fida Earns Honorable Mention at the 2017 3MT Western Regional Competition

The School of Graduate Studies would like to extend congratulations to uLethbridge 3MT winner Mashal Fida (MSc, Neuroscience), who received Honorable Mention at the 2017 3MT Western Regional competition. During the competition, Fida competed against top winners from 16 Western Canadian universities. Fida’s presentation titled “Sex Differences in Spatial Navigation Using a Novel Tabletop Navigation Task” explains her research on sex differences in spatial navigation to a non-specialist audience.

PhD candidate Aprami Jaggi from the University of Calgary claimed top prize, followed by Autumn Watkinson a PhD candidate from the University of Alberta, who was the runner up. University of Victoria PhD Candidate Armita Dash took home the People’s Choice award.
