CIHR Institute of Gender and Health Online Training Modules
As part of the Federal Sex and Gender based Analysis Awareness Week the CIHR Institute of Gender and Health have launched three new online competency modules. The modules are designed to help researchers and reviewers become familiar with best practices for integrating sex and gender based analysis across a variety of health research disciplines.
The three online modules are:
- Sex and Gender in Biomedical Research
- Sex and Gender in Primary Data Collection with Humans
- Sex and Gender in the Analysis of Data from Human Participants
Each modules takes less than an hour to complete (and can be done in 15 minute segments) and involves a pre-test followed by the course information. Upon completion CIHR provides a downloadable certificate for your professional skills development records. Learners are simply asked to create an account on the site after which they will recieve an enrollment key in order to access the course content.
