Draft of Thesis to the Thesis supervisor and all members of The Thesis Examination committee.

Apr 15

Dec 1

Draft of Thesis approved by Thesis Examination committee and submitted to the Office of Graduate Studies and Research in Education for forwarding to External Examiner.

(Allow one month prior to defence.)

May 1

Feb 1

Thesis oral defence.

Defence will not be scheduled in August or December.

Signed Thesis Oral Defence Report submitted to Office of Graduate Studies and Research in Education by Chair following defence.

Recommendation of the Award of the Degree form (completed by the Thesis supervisor) is submitted to the Office of Graduate Studies and Research in Education. Upon receipt of the signed form an account in the e-thesis/project system will be created and an account notification email will be sent to the student.

Student submits final PDF copy of Thesis via the e-thesis/project system for approval by Assistant Dean. The Thesis must include the Thesis Examination Committee Members Page.

Application for graduation. Students apply for graduation online via the Bridge (www.ulethbridge.ca/bridge).

Aug 1

Mar 15

Final PDF copy of thesis submitted via the e-thesis system for approval by the Dean, School of Graduate Studies.

Jul 15

Apr 30

PDF copy of the Thesis, submitted via the e-thesis/project system, has been approved by the Dean, School of Graduate Studies.

If a student does not meet all degree requirements (including the PDF submission of the Thesis) within the last term, then the student must register in the following term.

Recommendation of the Award of the Degree form (completed by Project Supervisor) is submitted to the Office of Graduate Studies and Research in Education. Upon receipt of teh signed form an account in the e-thesis/project system will be created and an account notification email will be sent to the student.

Student submits final PDF copy of the Project via the e-thesis/project system for approval by the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies and Research in Education. The Project must include the Project Committee Members Page.

Final PDF copy of the Project submitted via the e-thesis/project system for approval by the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies.

PDF copy of the Project, submitted via the e-thesis/project system, has been approved by the Dean, School of Graduate Studies.
