Library Brown Bag Workshop - Options for Meeting Mandated Open Access for Your Next Scholarly Article

If you hold a Tri-Council research grant – or another research award – which requires you to publish your findings in an open access venue, you may be wondering what your options are. Not all reputable publishers will charge author fees to publish open access – nor does an author processing fee necessarily mean the journal is a predatory one. Perhaps you just want the widest reach for your research, and would like to choose an open access publication. Come to this session to learn about some tips and tools to help you identify credible OA publishing options. Presented by Dr. Rumi Graham, U of L Copyright Advisor.

When: Thursday, November 9, 2017

Time: 12:15 - 1:30 p.m.

Room: L1114

These sessions are open and free to the entire University community.
