There are many important factors to consider as you complete your graduate program. Review the pages listed below for information that will be important resources for completing your program.
Students in the PhD program are required to submit a thesis proposal later within the first year of the program. Details regarding the proposals and other thesis regulations—including Thesis format regulations—are available in the Doctor of Philosophy Policies & Procedures.
Students in the PhD program must take and pass a comprehensive examination by the end of their program’s second year. Details regarding the comprehensive examination are available in the Doctor of Philosophy Policies & Procedures.
Thesis Oral Defence

Final Thesis Submission
The final thesis is submitted via the e-thesis submission system through to DSpace at the University of Lethbridge. Details regarding submission of the final thesis are available in the Doctor of Philosophy Policies & Procedures.
Once you have met all program requirements for graduation, you may apply for graduation from your program. Details regarding graduation, including graduation requirements, are available in the Doctor of Philosophy Policies & Procedures.
