Alberta Centre for Child, Family & Community Research
The Centre’s full-time Doctoral Award enables academically superior, post-candidacy PhD students to undertake full-time research training (in an area of interest to The Centre) with funding provided for a two-year period. The award consists of a stipend and a research allowance.
This funding cycle, The Centre is particularly interested in applications that address the following areas:
- Housing and homelessness
- Aboriginal women
- Youth in care
- Youth in transition
- School readiness
Eligibility: enrolled in a full time Doctoral program and have sucessfully completed the candidacy exam by the deadline.
Value: up to $30,000/year + research allowance for 2 years

Submit completed (with signatures upto and including your Dept. Chair only) applications to SGS Award Advisor by the internal deadline listed above for review and to obtain remaining signatures of Dean of SGS and VP Research.
NOTE: Dean of SGS and VP REsearch signatures cannot be obtained without first being reviewed by the SGS Award Advisor.
