The Alberta Cancer Foundation is pleased to offer the Graduate Studentship Award and the Cancer Research Fellowship Award competitions for exceptional students interested in medical or health research related to cancer.   Graduate Studentships and Cancer Research Fellowships are available across the cancer control continuum which includes etiology, prevention, detection, diagnosis, treatment, health services and palliation.

  • $27,000 for 2 years with possible 1,500 research allowence (renewable)

  • Masters or Doctoral, Canadian, PR or International students

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Submit 1 completed copy, with no staples and with the first three signatures only (candidate, supervisor and department chair). Applications to SGS Award Advisor by the internal deadline for review and to obtain remaining signatures.   

NOTE: Dean of SGS and VP Research signatures cannot be obtained without first being reviewed by the SGS Award Advisor.
