The GFC Nomination Committee is seeking academic staff members to fill vacancies for the following committees.  All nominations should be directed to Jodie Gallais (, Director, University Secretariat by Monday, September 17th!  If there are more nominations than vacancies an electronic vote of GFC members will occur. Approval of the nominees will occur at GFC on October 1, 2018.

Iniskim Education Committee (1 year term)

Academic Staff member is defined within the GFC Bylaws as: "Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Lecturers, Professional Librarians, Instructors, and Academic Assistants holding appointments at the University of Lethbridge. For the purposes of these Bylaws Adjunct or Emeritus appointments shall not be considered to be Academic Staff."


GFC Nomination Committee

The GFC Nomination Committee is a sub-committee of the Executive Committee and ensures the replenishment of GFC committees and other committees requiring representation from GFC.

The Nomination Committee will ensure the best possible match and broadest possible base of representation for all committees.

The Nomination Committee will make all recommendations to the Executive Committee who in turn will make the recommendations as per the GFC Bylaws to Council.

The Nomination Committee Comprises:

One student of the Executive Committee and three of the academic staff members of the Executive Committee will serve as the Nomination Committee. These individuals will be elected by the Executive Committee at their October meeting or when required due to vacancy.
