A survey of many of the major tragic plays of Ancient Greece and a selection of their modern adaptations.

Drama 3821 – Mask Making
An exploration into how masks have historically, culturally and stylistically been used combined with an introduction to the basic concepts, methods, materials and skills of mask making, with emphasis on practical theatrical masks.
Prerequisites: 15 university-level courses (a minimum of 45.0 credit hours) and completion of one course in Art, Drama, Music or New Media.

Drama 3821 – Projections
An investigation into projection techniques, as well as the development and incorporation of Projection Design into Theatre performance focusing on practical applications and story telling.
Prerequisites: 15 university-level courses (a minimum of 45.0 credit hours) and Drama 3845 (Lighting Design) or New Media 3010 (Cinematography and Lighting)

Drama 3845 - Lighting Design
Interpretation, visualization and conceptualization of theatre design, concentrating on one area: Lighting.
Prerequisites: Drama 2100 and Drama 2825
Drama 3850 - Model Building for Theatre
Developing three-dimensional model construction for the stage – understanding scale through materials and techniques.
Prerequisites: Drama 2810 and Drama 2825
