Our spacious and well-equipped studio facilities permit students to undertake ambitious material projects in an environment of expert technical support, creative guidance and critical dialogue.

Studio Classroom

  • Spacious general shop areas
  • Metal shop with foundry, forge, MIG and stick welder, plasma cutter, benders
  • Ceramics Workshop with gas and electric kilns, slip casting, pottery wheels, hand building equipment
  • Studio classroom with 24-foot ceilings dedicated to drawing, painting and visual foundations
  • 8' x 10' individual studio spaces for senior students
  • Printmaking studios with intaglio, lithography and woodblock equipment
  • Sewing room
  • Media lab with Mac computers, Epson Stylus Pro 7800 printer, video, audio (surround sound), digital photo and graphics capability
  • Media classroom with networked computers, professional video, audio and design software
  • Photography lab with full wet darkroom, regular and mural-format enlargers, and work area
  • Extensive 24-hour loan equipment including LCD data projectors, video monitors, digital video and still cameras, lighting kits, tripods, digital audio recording equipment, medium format, 4 x 5, and 35 mm cameras, and a sewing machine
