Bachelor of Arts (Art)

The University of Lethbridge offers two routes for those wanting to pursue a degree in Art – the BA route through the Faculty of Arts & Science and the BFA route through the Faculty of Fine Arts. Whatever you choose, you can rest assured that you will study with gifted experts across a wide range of artistic genres, including professional artists and scholars.

The University of Lethbridge Bachelor of Arts (Art) is a broad, more general program with fewer required courses in your major. Students primarily interested in studio art can select any combination of drawing, painting, sculpture, photo-arts, printmaking, computer art, video, installation art, performance art, and audio art.

There are numerous degrees you can complete with a major in Art through the two faculties:

  • Bachelor of Arts
  • Bachelor of Arts & Science
  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Management
  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education
