Advisors can direct students in completing degree requirements and with academic concerns such as:

  • GLERs
  • Transfer credits
  • Course sequencing
  • Important dates and deadlines
  • Strategies to address academic problems

Program Checks

Students are responsible for their own programs, but Advisors will check to ensure students are on track to fulfill degree requirements.

Forms & Applications

Various forms are processed through the Fine Arts Advising office including:

  • Visiting Student Authorization
  • Program Change
  • Independent Study
  • Application for Incomplete or Withdrawal with Cause
  • Prerequisite Waiver
  • Undergraduate Thesis Form and Application

Wait Listing

Students who are unable to register in courses required in their major or minor during the registration period may be put on wait-list for those courses during a specified period each fall and spring. Students in the Faculty of Fine Arts may be wait-listed for fine arts courses outside their major. Watch our website for specific dates.
