How do I register in courses?

Students can check assigned registration dates and add/drop classes on the Bridge. Be sure to check the Calendar for prerequisites and corequisites for all classes or you risk being removed from the class.

What does "GLER" mean?

GLER stands for General Liberal Education Requirement which is a 12-course requirement for all undergraduate students at the U of L. The Program Planning Guides for Faculty of Fine Arts programs include regular program requirements and GLER requirements.

Can I take a class if I don't have the prerequisite?

Students may receive a prerequisite waiver by obtaining authorization from both the instructor of the course and the Assistant Dean of Fine Arts. . Students must complete a Prerequisite Waiver form available in the Fine Arts Advising Office, or online under “Forms”
