The Drama Project Fund encourages and facilitates enrichment projects in the appreciation and performance of the dramatic arts. Apply in W811 (Fine Arts Admininstrative Support Office) with a written proposal, including an outline of the nature of the project, budget funding from other sources (if any), projected completion date, and rationale indicating the project's value to the applicant and department.

The purpose of the Project Account is to encourage and facilitate enrichment projects in the appreciation and performance of the dramatic arts.

Value: up to $500 reimbursement per project (up to $2000 total per academic year)

Eligibility: Faculty, staff, and senior* students in the Drama or Multidisciplinary program

(*having completed 20 or more courses at the U of L)

Deadline: Ongoing – must be submitted approximately 10 days prior to the monthly Drama department meeting (see below)

 

Application Guidelines

Faculty, staff, and senior students* may provide a written proposal to apply for funds. The proposal must outline the nature of the project, budget funding from other sources if any, projected completion date, and a rational indicating the project's value to the applicant and Department. A maximum of $500 is available for each project.

Submit applications to the Shawn Coburn (W811) approximately 10 days prior to the monthly department meeting. Due dates for the year are indicated below:

*A senior student has completed 20 or more courses at the university. You must be a Multidisciplinary or declared Drama major to be eligible.

You may hold no more than one Trust Account grant concurrently.

Following project completion, a written report must be filed with the Department before funds are released. Successful applicants must also submit receipts documenting expenditures.
