Programs
Students selecting these degree programs will have the opportunity to take such courses as Blackfoot, Cree, Native American Philosophy, Aboriginal Peoples and Law, Family and First Nations' Community Development, North American Indian Art History and Theory, Traditional Aboriginal Political Economy, and Native American Health.
The Department of Native American Studies also participates in the delivery of the following programs:
- Canadian Studies
- First Nations' Governance: through a new partnership, a major in First Nations' Governance for B.Mgt. degree programs is offered jointly by the Department of Native American Studies and the Faculty of Management.
Students who have selected a General Major in the Humanities or Social Sciences can select Native American Studies as one of the three streams.
Students can select Native American Studies as the B.A. major for the Combined B.A./B.Ed. or B.A./B.Mgt. programs.
