Students enrolling in the Native American Studies program will have an excellent opportunity to study the Native perspective and how it relates to disciplines involving art, law, philosophy, politics, history, gender studies, ecology, business, customs, and language.

All of the classes in Native American Studies are taught from the Native perspective - this makes our program the most unique and one of the most soughtafter programs in Canada. The majority of our courses are taught by Native American and First Nations' instructors who are professionals in their fields with real-world experience, many of whom are known nationally and internationally.


Careers:

Graduates from this discipline have gone on to work in such careers as: primary and secondary education, public relations, Band business administration, social work, film and theatre, law, First Nations' governance, and Native American studies.
