Undergraduate Students
Economics encompasses a wide number of areas, and students will have the opportunity to explore all of these facets including philosophy and logic, statistics, political science, finance and management, and history. It is a very challenging discipline that teaches you to think critically and be able to look at the real world and explain its workings and policies using economic principles.
Students in the Faculty of Arts and Science have a number of special opportunities available including:

- Involvement with professors on research projects
Graduates from this discipline have gone on to pursue graduate studies
as well as to work in such positions as: commodities broker, journalist,
market research analyst, foreign trade analyst, investment banker,
technical writer, actuarial assistant, and tax auditor.
