Canadian Studies
A multidisciplinary major that draws broadly on the humanities and social sciences,
offering students the flexibility to take courses in disciplines that interest
them while focusing on and developing a deeper appreciation of Canadian identity
and issues.
Possible Career Paths
Graduates of this program have pursued careers in journalism, public relations,
government services, cultural industries, tourism, education, law, historical
site management, corporate relations, demography, community planning, market
forecasting, and documentation editing. Others have continued their education
at the Master's and Ph.D. levels.
