Lethbridge is southern Alberta’s shopping hub, featuring several shopping and power centers and a vibrant downtown which serves a retail trading area of about 275,000 extending into the United States and British Columbia. The city offers many stores and services, as well as major shopping malls. Mayor Magrath Drive is the central axis of a thriving business sector of hotels, motels, restaurants, auto dealerships, shopping centers and much more. Wal-Mart, Costco, Canadian Tire, Safeway, Home Depot, and other national retailers have moved into the south end past 43rd street. In total the range of goods and services offered rival larger cosmopolitan areas.
Park Place Shopping Centre
Lethbridge's largest shopping mall featuring many major retailers such as Sears, Winners, JYSK, Petland, The Gap, Roots, Payless Shoes, HMV and much more. A large central atrium, brightly lit with a large skylight, often features fashion shows and other special events. There is also a large food court and Cineplex Odeon movie theatres.

Lethbridge Centre is one of the city's major malls. Supported mainly by the Bay, the mall also contains various independent and major retailers. On those bitter cold or windy days the underground parkade is terrific.
Wal-Mart Power Centre
Situated on a quiet street downtown, a few shops represent
Bulk and discount items for business or personal shopping. Departments include electronics, pharmacy, photo, books, clothes, house wares, furniture, automotive and food. Shoppers must hold a valid Costco card, available at the store.
West Village Mall – walking distance from University. Stores include Shoppers Drug Mart, Super Sam grocery, Movie Gallery, TD ATM bank machine, Ultracuts, and two pubs.
