University Hall Renewal

While the cornerstone of the Destination Project provides a new academic facility to house science labs, the renewal of University Hall holds just as much merit.

About 6,000 square meters of assignable space will be vacated when science faculties move into the new building, and along with that comes an opportunity to review how U Hall is being used and to reassess the building’s purpose at U of L.

The University Hall Renewal Report outlines the renewal process. It includes a long-term vision for U Hall, outlining its role on campus and the potential mix of building uses; overarching design principles and exploration of possible reorganization of U Hall’s physical layout; and recommendations describing the next steps in the planning process.
