The Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the project management phase of campus construction and renovation projects.
The departments' primary role is to take stakeholders requirements and requests and, along with campus planning and architecture, transform them into tangible spaces utilizing the skills and labour of the construction community. Once a contractor has been selected the department oversees and administers all aspects of the construction work up to and including final close out.
The Campus Planning & Architecture department provides project initiation and pre-design feasibility (space analysis) and planning work for renovation and capital projects, as well as overseeing the Campus Master Plan.
Together with the rest of the Facilities team, these departments work to build a destination campus.
