Spooky Science Night

Event Date:
Saturday, October 27, 2012 - 17:30 - 19:30

University Hall Atrium, 5:30 p.m.

Have you ever wondered if your favorite blue candy is really blue? Are you interested in how your breath can make magic happen? Do creepy, crawly things excite you? Then be sure to attend the first annual Spooky Science Night, presented by Let’s Talk Science at the University of Lethbridge.

We would like to invite all youth ages 5 to 12 to attend our Spooky Science Night. This evening will be filled with fun, Halloween-based hands-on science activities sure to excite and engage the younger generation, followed by some captivating and explosive demonstrations. To top the night off, we will be making ice cream from liquid nitrogen for all. But the best part is that all of this is provided at no cost!

If you are interested in participating, please contact Let's Talk Science at uleth@letstalkscience.ca to receive the registration form. The form can then be returned to the same email address or by fax to 403-329-2057 before Oct. 24. Space is limited to the first 100 to register. Science is fun when it is performed in a safe and controlled environment, therefore we ask that all participants are accompanied by at least one adult.

If you have any further questions, or would like to learn more about Let’s Talk Science, please don’t hesitate to contact us at uleth@letstalkscience.ca.
