The various chapters provide a background of theories of adult, popular, feminist and environmental adult popular education; ideas for organising workshops within an ecological context; a number of critical and creative activities which use nature and the community as teachers and sites of learning; as well as other activities from the Philippines, Fiji, Australia, and Hong Kong.
