Alberta Education K-12 -- Information for teachers, students and parents, including curriculum materials, provincial testing, specical needs, technology, initiatives, etc.
Alberta Education Authorized Resources Database -- Database for finding resources authorized by Alberta Education. To search for authorized textbooks, select your "Curriculum Area," "Grade Level," and choose "Student Basic" from the"Auhorization Status" menu.
- Eric Digests -- Provides short reports which give you overviews of any educational topic or issue (last updated July 2005).
- TeacherTube.com -- Access to hundreds of educational video clips created by teachers. It is "an online community for sharing instructional videos."
- Education World -- Includes a search engine for educational web sites only, as well as lesson plans, technology integration, school issues, etc.
- GEM: Gateway to Educational Materials -- One stop access to 50,000+ lesson plans, instructional units, and other educational resources on the net. You can easily refine your search by grade level and subject.
- Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators -- Catergorized list of sites for enhancing curriculum and professional growth, it includes education issues, lesson plans, teaching tools, bulletin board ideas, worksheet generation, etc.
www.2learn.ca -- A comprehensive site devoted to the meaningful integration of Internet resources into classroom lessons.

- Internet Public Library K-12 Education Sites -- Education issues, technology, testing, special education, lesson plans, etc.
- Teachnet.com -- Smart tools for busy teachers, including lesson plans and power tools to simplify your job.
The Alberta Teacher's Association Library Catalogue -- an extensive collection of books, periodicals, videos and other materials focusing on professional development for teachers. Anyone can search the library catalogue. However, only members of the ATA may borrow materials.
CBC Archives For Teachers -- Educational materials for Grades 6-8, Grades 9-10, and Grades 11-12, related to CBC News.
