1. What program does the University of Lethbridge offer in Edmonton?

The University of Lethbridge in Edmonton is host to the Faculty of Management. We exclusively offer the Bachelor of Management undergraduate degree and Management certificates.

Students can pursue any program on the Edmonton Campus on a full-time or part-time basis. Please visit our programs link for further information.

2. Who is eligible to take this program?

The University of Lethbridge in Edmonton is designed for the working adult; those students who are working full-time or part-time during the day and want to pursue a Bachelor of Management degree. 3. Where do I take my classes?

The University of Lethbridge Edmonton Campus has recently moved to Concordia University College, located at 7128 Ada Blvd. Edmonton. Existing phone and email contacts remain the same.

4. What time are my classes?

Since the University of Lethbridge in Edmonton is uniquely designed for working adults, classes are offered in the evenings and on Saturdays to accommodate your work schedule. Generally, the U of L Edmonton Campus offers classes Monday through Friday from 6:00pm to 8:50pm and two classes on Saturday - 9:00am to 11:50am and 1:00pm to 3:50pm. Class times may vary depending on course requirements.

5. How much does it cost?

The cost of going to university includes a lot of factors and these often change. However, we can give you a rough idea of how to budget. Education is a huge financial commitment, but there are several ways to pay for your university education.

6. How long do I have to complete my program?

Each student's program will differ in length based on admission type and previous educational experience. Generally, it takes four years to complete the Bachelor of Management degree if a student were attending as a full-time student. However, a student could finish the degree in as little as two years if admitted into a post-diploma, second degree or certificate program. Program length depends entirely on how many courses a student takes per semester. Our program allows a student to take as few as 1 course and as many as 5 courses per semester.

7. Does my diploma transfer into the Bachelor of Management program?

8. How many transfer courses am I allowed?

The maximum number of courses you can transfer into the program is 20 courses or 60 credit hours. Students with approved diplomas who are admitted to the Post-Diploma Bachelor of Management degree will receive block credit for two years.

9. How will my courses from college transfer to the U of L?

The Alberta Council on Admissions and Transfer (www.acat.gov.ab.ca) provides transfer credit information for transferable courses between Alberta colleges and universities. For an official statement of how your courses will transfer into the Bachelor of Management degree program, a student must apply to the University of Lethbridge and supply official transcripts for review by the admissions office.
