Group Sessions

Group Sessions

Research tells us that humans are social creatures. We feel good and learn a lot when we create positive connections with others. Working together can help you connect with people who have similar experiences and help you develop new ideas about how to manage new situations and relationships.

Our groups must have a minimum of 8 people signed up in order to run. If you are interested in a group session, please email us at Dates and times of the group will be determined based on interest.

Managing Stress and Anxiety

Have you ever found yourself replaying conversations in your head, worrying and unable to sleep at night because your brain just won’t switch off? In this group we will explore what causes stress and worry, strategies for managing your worry, and how mindfulness may help you to slow down and become more aware of the world around you.

Body Image and Disordered Eating

We are bombarded by information about how to look, what to eat and how to act. How we connect to ourselves and to food can get very confusing. This group will help you explore healthy ways to interact with your body and food, and will help you to develop healthy coping strategies and perceptions of body-image.

Men Stopping Violence

Men can become powerful allies in ending violence. Through group discussions we will explore what masculinity means, what factors contribute to violence and how men can help create a safer community for everyone.
