University of Lethbridge students present Zumbathon fundraiser to support Nepal humanitarian mission

WHAT: Zumbathon Charity Event
WHEN: Friday, June 5, 2015, 5 to 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: Students’ Union Ballroom

University of Lethbridge students have organized a Zumbathon fundraising event in support of a proposed humanitarian mission to assist the people of Nepal in the wake of the devastating earthquakes that struck the region.

The event will raise money for Uphill Both Ways (http://www.uphillbothways.net/), a charity created and operated by U of L alumnus Janelle Pritchard. Uphill Both Ways has been active in providing medical and educational aid to Nepal since it was established in 2005.

Tickets for the event are priced at $20 in advance (http://tine403.zumba.com/events) and $25 at the door. The evening will feature a performance from a Nepali dance group at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Zumbathon from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
