University of Lethbridge highlights for the week of July 11 to 15

The University of Lethbridge has a number of events lined up this week that may be of interest to your readers, viewers and listeners. Members of the media who are interested in covering these events are encouraged to contact the individual event organizer directly.

Destination Exploration — 2016 Science & Technology Camps

Three camps are in session this week. All camps are held in the Alberta Water and Environmental Science Building. Media are invited to come between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. Please check in at reception.

Animals through the Ages

Children aged five to seven will learn about how animals like dinosaurs and tigers have changed, evolved, adapted and been influenced by humans.

Into the Wild

Youth aged eight to 11 will investigate amazing animals, extreme plants and wild science.

Codemakers: Robots! Robots! Robots!

This camp for 11 to 13-year-olds will have them build, program and play with their own robots.
