WHAT: 2019 Chinook Symposium in Chemistry & Biochemistry

WHEN: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 11, 2019

WHERE: Science Commons atrium, 7th and 9th floors

WHO: Undergraduate and graduate students of the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, department faculty members, MLAs Nathan Neudorf (Lethbridge East) and Shannon Phillips (Lethbridge West), and member of Parliament Rachel Harder will be on hand throughout the day

The 13th annual Chinook Symposium in Chemistry & Biochemistry is a showcase of undergraduate and graduate student research. The symposium features oral presentations (10 a.m. on Level 9) by students who were authors of refereed, original research in the past year; a poster session (1 p.m. on Level 7) where students present their research posters to judges and public in attendance; and concludes with prize presentations (4:30 p.m. on Level 7) of at least $1,800 to the top presenters of the day.
