Religious Studies

The Department offers a major in Religious Studies for the 40-course Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Arts and Science (BASc) degree programs.

Alternatively, you can choose to do a General Major in the Humanities and select Religious Studies as one of your three streams. You can also opt for Religious Studies as your BA major for the BA/BMgt program.

By selecting one of these degree programs, you will have the opportunity to take up to 20 Religious Studies courses including: World Religions, The Hindu Tradition, The Buddhist Tradition, East Asian Religions, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Studies in Religious Traditions, and advanced-level courses in the religions of South Asia, East Asia, and the West.

NEW! Religious Studies Minor
As of Fall 2011, you are also able to select Religious Studies as a minor in addition to you regular degree program. Find out more about the minor in Religious Studies.
