Begin your studies at the University of Lethbridge before transfering to an institution offering the professional program of your choice.
Pre-professional and professional transfer programs at uLethbridge facilitate a jump start on your professional career in a smaller, more personal environment than some of the larger universities. Through arrangements between the University of Lethbridge and professional schools at other universities, our transfer programs have been established that will prepare students for admission to professional programs offered at other institutions.
Not only will you save money on things like tuition and your cost of living, but you’ll also have access to the professors teaching your classes — and writing your textbooks — and the opportunity to participate in research as an undergraduate student.
These programs are intended to give students priority access to courses satisfying the programs recommended by the professional schools.

Medicine (Professional Transfer)
Veterinary Medicine (Professional Transfer)
Each pre-professional and professional transfer program offered by the University of Lethbridge varies in the number of course hours required by the professional school before acceptance will be considered. The core courses outlined in each program must be met prior to application.
Your acceptance into a pre-professional or professional transfer program at the University of Lethbridge does not preclude acceptance into professional programs at other universities.
While these programs have been designed to transfer seamlessly to our partner universities, they are not exclusive and could be used to transfer to other professional schools. Students should seek advice from the school to which they intend to transfer if this is their intent.
Students interested in pre-professional and professional transfer programs at uLethbridge are urged to consult with Academic Advising (M2102; tel. 403-329-5106; email: email@example.com) for further information. Direct consultation with each professional school of choice is also recommended.
