University of Lethbridge graduates Beverly and Tracy Burton have finished medical school and are now set up in Pincher Creek. Both majoring in Biochemistry, these two young women made the most of their university experience by participating in the Co-operative Education Program and getting an edge on their career goals. "Being part of the Co-op Program has benefited my career development as I have been given hands-on experiences that are not possible in only taking the degree requirements in the classroom," states Beverly Burton. Tracy Burton also states that "the skills that I have learned are ones that are not always offered in the academic classes, so it provides me with a distinct advantage when I am out in the work force." These are just two of Co-operative Education's many success stories. -Beverly and Tracy Burton
