The 6th Annual Chinook Symposium for Chemistry & Biochemistry was held on Sept. 28, 2012. There were
43 participants in the Symposium, a new record.

Presenters for the Loren Hepler Gold Medal for Ph.D. Research Excellence were selected from numerous submissions and were:

PhD—Bchm Laura Keffer-Wilkes
Farhad Faghihi won first place and Laura Keffer-Wilkes won second place.
