Let’s Do Science Day

The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry would like to announce the up-coming “Let’s Do Science Day” on May 31st, 2012.

The Let’s Talk Science Program, based on graduate student volunteers, has invited 50 high school students from Lethbridge to campus.

These students have been selected by their teachers and will represent the most highly motivated high school students with respect to science. The main goal of this day is to showcase the different scientific fields available at a post-secondary education, as well as introducing the high school students to life on a university campus. Following the day of hands-on activities in different disciplines there will be a presentation and prizes for the students.
